As the name implies, Home Friendship Groups are small gatherings of friends and neighbors (3-12 adults) meeting in homes for encouragement, warm discussion, and Christian friendship. Home Friendship Groups are a safe place to discuss real life issues from a Biblical perspective.
The atmosphere is casual, and everyone has an opportunity to listen and share their thoughts during a discussion of the weekly topic. Home Friendship Groups help people to grow in their relationship with God, to grow in their relationships within the group, and to find ways to show Christ’s love to others in practical ways.
Groups meet on various days of each week in homes throughout the area. Home Friendship Groups provide small group interaction for approximately two hours. There is food, fellowship, sharing, and prayer together in an informal, relaxed atmosphere.
Home Friendship Groups are open to all people—Church attendance is not required. They are also free of charge—you will never be asked for a monetary fee or donation. Whether you are single or married, have children, are college aged, or a senior citizen, we have a Home Friendship Group for you! Call Pastor Brown at 517-548-5920 if you or someone you know is interested in joining us to see what this is all about; you won't be disappointed!
